https://youtu.be/R7KDoFcCUeI Class opens with svadhyaya (self-inquiry), mindful movement, and a "Brain Dump" - exploring a few journaling prompts from kelley nicole palmer's book "MANIFEST". We then set the prompts aside, and feel into the shoulders and the core with a few exploratory twists. We spend time in kneeling balancing half moon, as well as single-legged Utkatasana (chair pose), and invite in Simhasana Pranayama (Lion's Breath) while standing, to feel the effort in our bodies and breath. Class ends with a reading from excerpts of Emergent Strategy by adrienne marie brown, contemplating fractals, and our connection to the large and small.
