Balance + Breathe 5, Zoom Recording | OD
Bhramari pranayama, & creative pigeon transitions without our hands!
https://youtu.be/bWJemc4dAI8 This class is playful and fun, opening with bhramari pranayama (bumblebee breath) to help us deepen our practice of the 5th limb of yoga - prathyahara (turning inward). We then warm up the body with urdvha upavistha konasana (upward seated straddle, or "balancing bear" pose), and begin exploring options in supported malasana (garland pose) and moving in and out of kapotasana (pigeon pose) without the use of our hands! We end with a meditation on the space between the change of the seasons, honoring the cycles and dharma of the universe. I close sharing a passage from Jack Kornfield's "A Path with Heart".
