Bilateral stimulation & muladhara chakra grounding for anxiety relief!
https://youtu.be/fuaMjVnDv6Y This class opens with 15 minutes of bilateral stimulation techniques gathered from multiple sources, including Brianna Rose (IG: @briannaroseflows and @hackyournervoussystem). A few theories of bilateral stimulation include it being useful for helping shift trapped emotions and move out of negative feedback loops, generating relaxation, and facilitating healing from anxiety or trauma-inducing memories and events. I do not claim to be an expert in this area; however, find these techniques have helped me ground myself in times of high anxiety. We then explore lateral stretches, and standing strengthening and balance postures, and end with a meditation on the muladhara chakra, the "base" chakra, to help us further ground down. Finally, we invite in a sense of grounding and bravery to close our practice, with the affirmation "I am grounded at the center of my being."
